About Us
Lincolnshire Gas Training was originally setup near to Scunthorpe on Flixborough Industrial Estate in 2007 as FlixTAC (Flixborough Training and Assessment Centre).
FlixTAC has a long-standing relationship with its client-base and has traded successfully since first opening by delivering oil and gas training & assessments to the local tradespeople of Lincolnshire and beyond. We offer telephone support to any of our clients who would like a second opinion on a technical issue, and are always on-hand to offer guidance should you need reassurance on any safety related matters you encounter whilst working.
Due to business growth and expansion, we now trade as ‘Lincolnshire Gas Training Ltd.’ and no longer trade actively as FlixTAC. We feel this is an appropriate move for our business.

Please be rest-assured that you can confidently approach us with these, and we will apply any industry approved learning method permitted to make the experience as positive as possible for you, and of course with the utmost discretion.
All of our team members understand the importance of receiving quality gas and OFTEC training from like-minded individuals who fully understand the trade you're in. That's why all of our tutors hold at least twenty years of practical experience 'on the tools' as a gas/OFTEC tradesperson, and at least ten years of experience working as an assessor within your industry.
Bespoke Tuition
This ensures you only receive correct, relevant, and current information during your training, with fair informed assessment decisions from individuals who have previously worked in your shoes on the job.
Our courses are run in smaller group sizes of 4-6 which enables a more relaxed and personal approach and ensures everyone receives the necessary tuition they require, and without suffering any undue anxiety or lack of attention.
All of our Assessors ensure processes, procedures, and standards meet the various scheme and industry requirements to enable standardisation within our industry.
